About Joyner Mobility: Joyner Mobility is our non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) division, providing reliable, professional rides for patients who need to get to and from medical appointments — coordinated directly through healthcare facilities, insurers, and assisted living partners.

Getting to a medical appointment should not be a source of stress. For millions of people across the country — patients managing chronic conditions, individuals recovering from procedures, seniors who no longer drive — the challenge of finding reliable transportation to and from care is real, and the consequences of missing an appointment can be serious.

Joyner Mobility exists to solve that problem. As the non-emergency medical transportation division of Joyner Transportation & Logistic Services, we partner with the organizations that are already in a patient's life — healthcare facilities, insurance providers, and assisted living communities — to ensure that transportation is never the reason a patient misses care.

"A missed medical appointment is not just an inconvenience — it is a gap in care. Our job is to make sure transportation is never the reason that gap exists."

What Is Non-Emergency Medical Transportation?

Non-emergency medical transportation — NEMT — covers rides to and from medical appointments that are necessary but not urgent. This includes routine check-ups, specialist visits, dialysis treatments, physical therapy sessions, follow-up appointments after hospitalization, and more.

Unlike emergency medical services, NEMT rides are scheduled in advance and do not require an ambulance or emergency response. What they do require is punctuality, professionalism, and a driver who understands the sensitivity of the work. That is the standard we hold every Joyner Mobility ride to.

How We Operate
Scheduled in Advance

Rides are booked ahead of time through our 24/7 online booking system, giving patients and care coordinators confidence that transportation is confirmed and accounted for.

How We Operate
Available When You Need Us

Joyner Mobility operates rides from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM local time, seven days a week — covering early morning appointments and late-day treatments alike.

How We Operate
Metro-Wide Coverage

We serve full metro areas, not just city limits. Our coverage extends up to 50 miles from each market we operate in, ensuring patients in surrounding communities are not left out.

How We Operate
Professional, Vetted Drivers

Every Joyner Mobility driver meets the same standards we hold across our entire network — background checked, trained, and prepared for the specific demands of medical transport.

Who We Work With

Joyner Mobility coordinates transportation through the organizations that serve patients directly. We do not accept individual bookings at this time — instead, we partner with healthcare and care management organizations to integrate transportation into an existing care model.

Healthcare Facilities

Hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, and outpatient facilities that need reliable transportation for patients who cannot drive themselves or arrange a ride independently.

Insurance Providers

Health insurers and managed care organizations that coordinate NEMT as a covered benefit for eligible members — we work within existing authorization and scheduling workflows.

Assisted Living & Senior Care Communities

Assisted living facilities and senior care communities that need a dependable transportation partner for residents attending routine and specialist appointments.

Why This Work Matters

Transportation barriers are one of the most common reasons patients miss medical appointments. The impact goes beyond inconvenience — missed appointments contribute to delayed diagnoses, interrupted treatment plans, and preventable complications. For patients managing serious or chronic conditions, consistent access to care is not optional.

Joyner Mobility is our answer to that problem. It is also one of the services we are most proud of, because the work is meaningful in a way that goes beyond logistics. When a Joyner driver picks up a patient for a dialysis appointment or delivers a senior home safely after a procedure, they are doing something that matters for that person's health and quality of life.

We take that seriously, and we are committed to expanding our Mobility network and partnerships to reach more patients and more communities.
