Diversity and inclusion are not programs at Joyner — they are the foundation of everything we do. We believe that different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences make us stronger as a company and better for the communities we serve.
At Joyner we believe that creating an environment where every employee, associate, independent contractor, and customer feels welcome and respected is not just the right thing to do — it is the foundation of outstanding service. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is reflected in how we lead, how we hire, how we conduct business, and how we show up for the communities we serve.
At Joyner we are committed to remaining a company where everyone — no matter their age, sex, gender, race, religion, national origin, disability, or sexual orientation — feels welcome, valued, and heard. This is not a policy. It is who we are.
"When I think of Diversity, I isolate 'Di' and I'm taken back to grade school. 'Di' is the meaning of two or double. Once I take into account the complete word Diversity I'm reminded of two words — Practice and Quality. The Practice of including everyone, not just some due to race, religion, and or sexual orientation; and the Quality of how people are treated. Inclusion with compassion, understanding, and acceptance. It's crucial that our employees and associates here at Joyner feel respected, accepted — not just tolerated — and have a voice that doesn't fall on deaf ears."Samantha Richard Former Vice President of Operations, Joyner

Commitment to equal opportunity for all
Diversity and inclusion remain at the center of everything we do at Joyner. Our commitment is reflected in how we lead as an organization, how we conduct business, and how we manage our relationships with the communities we serve.
Creating an environment where all employees, associates, and independent contractors feel welcome and are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve transcends to our customers and the communities we serve.
Over the years we have responded to social challenges by training our employees and associates on how to combat racism and remain an anti-racist company. We have invested in making our services more accessible to all communities across the country — and we continue to evolve our approach as the world around us changes.
Our Annual Employee Care Report highlights diversity and inclusion data about our employees and is available upon request to the public. To request a copy of our most recent Employee Care Report please email hrec@myjoyner.com.
Our 7 Pillars of Inclusion form the foundation of how we approach diversity and belonging at Joyner — guiding our decisions, programs, and culture every single day.
Ensuring every employee, contractor, and customer has equal access to opportunities, resources, and services — regardless of background or ability.
Cultivating a mindset of openness, empathy, and respect across every level of the organization — from leadership to frontline teams.
Empowering individuals to bring their authentic selves to work and make choices that reflect their values, identities, and unique perspectives.
Building meaningful partnerships with diverse communities, organizations, and contractors who share our commitment to equity and inclusion.
Fostering open, honest, and respectful dialogue across all teams — where every voice is heard and every perspective is considered.
Establishing and enforcing clear policies that protect every individual from discrimination, bias, and unfair treatment in all aspects of our operations.
Creating pathways for growth, advancement, and leadership for individuals from all backgrounds — ensuring opportunity is truly equal at Joyner.
Diversity is multidimensional. At Joyner we recognize and celebrate diversity across all of its forms — understanding that each dimension brings unique value to our team and our work.
Celebrating the rich variety of cultural backgrounds, traditions, and perspectives represented across our team and the communities we serve.
Actively working to build a team that reflects the racial and ethnic diversity of the communities where we live and operate.
Valuing the wisdom of experience and the energy of fresh perspectives — welcoming team members at every stage of their career and life.
Committed to gender equity across all levels of our organization — from entry-level roles to senior leadership and executive positions.
Creating a workplace where LGBTQ+ employees, associates, and contractors are fully welcomed, respected, and supported in being their authentic selves.
Committed to accessibility and inclusion for individuals with physical, cognitive, and invisible disabilities — in our workplace and in our services.

Building diverse teams across all departments, levels, and functions — ensuring that inclusion is embedded in the structure of how we organize and operate.
As an organization Joyner is a melting pot of different people — with different skills, from different places, with different religions and backgrounds — united by one common goal: delivering outstanding service to our customers.
Our culture at Joyner allows everyone to be their authentic selves, sharing different perspectives, ideas, and strategies. We promote and provide resources for professional and personal growth — because we know that when our people thrive, our business thrives.
We have restructured our Human Resources department to incorporate an Employee Care division whose sole responsibility is the wellbeing of Joyner employees and associates. Our Operations & Launch team has refocused efforts on making our products and services accessible to all — actively fighting against discrimination in every form.
Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups that foster a diverse and inclusive workplace — open to all Joyner employees and independent contractors who share a commitment to inclusion.
Groups celebrating and supporting the cultural backgrounds, traditions, and heritage of Joyner team members — fostering cross-cultural understanding and community across the organization.

Joyner's mentorship program connects employees and independent contractors with experienced leaders across the organization. Whether you are early in your career or transitioning into a new role our mentors provide guidance, support, and advocacy to help you reach your goals. Open to all employees and contractors.
Joyner sets and tracks measurable diversity hiring goals to ensure our workforce reflects the communities we serve. We partner with diverse colleges, universities, and professional organizations to reach a broad and diverse pool of candidates — and we hold our hiring teams accountable for equitable and inclusive hiring practices.
Running a business is not easy — it takes hard work, determination, and consistency. We understand this firsthand. We acknowledge that many of our successes are powered by our third-party contractors and their commitment to Joyner and our customers. We have established a diverse network of contractors and provide them access to the same D&I resources as our internal team.
When questioned why we give back — we ask why not? We pride ourselves on giving back to the communities in which we conduct business through our MyCommunity program. Each year every Joyner employee receives eight paid MyCommunity hours to volunteer at the community event or non-profit of their choice.
MyCommunity is Joyner's community partnership program — our formal commitment to giving back in meaningful and measurable ways. Launched in 2019 the program has three key focus areas:
Proud sponsor supporting communities impacted by disasters and crises
Supporting the Human Rights Campaign and LGBTQ+ equality
Partnering with D.A.R.E. to support youth drug awareness programs
$500,000 pledged to support the Lonnell Joyner Foundation's community mission
Joyner is a company that cares. We offer fair transportation and logistics products and services that meet the needs of people right where they are — and we promise to continue to do so both ethically and fairly.
We are committed to ensuring that every customer — regardless of their background, identity, or circumstance — receives the same high standard of service and the same respectful, dignified treatment that they deserve.
Our non-discrimination policy applies to every customer interaction across all Joyner products and services. If you ever feel you have been treated unfairly please contact us immediately at help@myjoyner.com or (888) 237-6516.
We are not just saying we are inclusive — we are building systems, programs, and a culture that proves it every day. Here is what you can expect when you join the Joyner team.
From your first day at Joyner you will experience a culture that values who you are — not just what you do. We celebrate differences and believe that authentic, diverse perspectives make our work better and our company stronger.
At Joyner career advancement is based on merit, contribution, and potential — not background or connections. We actively invest in the professional development of underrepresented groups and create clear pathways to leadership for everyone.
We take discrimination, harassment, and bias seriously. Joyner provides clear reporting channels, protects people who speak up, and takes prompt action when our standards are not met. Every voice matters here — and we mean that.
Our Annual Employee Care Report highlights diversity and inclusion data about our employees — including workforce demographics, hiring data, and D&I program outcomes. The report is available upon request to the public.
