Tracking Technologies We Use

Like most companies, Joyner and our advertising partners use common tracking technologies to collect information that helps us serve relevant ads and improve our advertising effectiveness. These technologies may include:

  • Browser Cookies — Small text files stored in your browser that help us recognize you across visits and sessions on our website
  • Pixel Tags & Web Beacons — Small transparent images embedded in web pages or emails that help us track interactions and measure ad performance
  • Mobile Advertising IDs — Device identifiers such as Apple IDFA and Google GAID that help us serve interest-based ads on mobile devices
  • Local Shared Objects — Similar to browser cookies but stored outside your browser on your device
  • Analytics Tools — Tools such as Google Analytics that help us understand how visitors interact with our website and advertising
  • Social Media Pixels — Tracking pixels from Meta, TikTok, and other social platforms that help us measure ad performance and build audience segments

We use these technologies to recognize our customers and visitors, understand your interests, improve our products and services, and serve you advertising that is more relevant to you.

How We Use Your Information for Advertising

Joyner may use information we collect about you — or information provided by our advertising partners — to show you ads that are relevant to your interests. This is commonly known as interest-based advertising or online behavioral advertising. Specifically we may use:

  • Location Data — Your general location to serve ads relevant to your city, region, or area
  • Browsing Behavior — Pages you have visited on our website or interactions with our content to show you relevant follow-up ads
  • Interests & Preferences — Information about the types of products and services you have shown interest in
  • Past Interactions — Your history with Joyner products and services to show you relevant offers and promotions
  • Demographic Information — General demographic data to help us reach audiences that are similar to our existing customers
  • Device Information — Device type, operating system, and browser type to optimize ad delivery across your devices

We may share de-identified or aggregated data with our advertising partners to coordinate interest-based advertising across multiple devices. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

You Can Control Cookies

Your browser gives you the ability to control, block, or delete browser cookies at any time. How you do this depends on the browser you use. Please note that if you block or delete cookies, some features of our website may not work properly — including mechanisms used to honor your advertising opt-out preferences.

Most modern browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete cookies that are currently stored in your browser
  • Block all cookies or cookies from specific websites
  • Set your browser to notify you when a website attempts to set a cookie
  • Use private or incognito browsing modes that do not store cookies after your session ends

For instructions on managing cookies in your specific browser please refer to your browser's help documentation.

How to Limit Interest-Based Advertising

Joyner is committed to giving you choices about how your information is used for advertising. You have several options to limit or opt out of interest-based advertising:

Industry Opt-Out Tools

You can limit interest-based advertising from Joyner and other participating companies by using the following industry opt-out tools:

Platform-Specific Opt-Out Options

You can also manage your ad preferences directly on the platforms where you see Joyner ads:

Please note: Using these opt-out tools does not mean you will stop seeing Joyner ads altogether. It means the ads you see will be less tailored to your interests. You may still see Joyner ads that are not based on your behavior or interests — such as our TV commercials or general display ads.

Mobile App Advertising

Joyner and our advertising partners may use mobile advertising IDs — such as Apple's IDFA or Google's Advertising ID — to serve you interest-based advertising within mobile apps.

iOS Devices

On Apple iOS devices you can limit ad tracking by going to:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking — and toggling off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

You can also go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and turn off "Personalized Ads"

Android Devices

On Android devices you can opt out of interest-based ads by going to:

Settings → Google → Ads — and selecting "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

Social Media & Third Party Widgets

Our website may include social media buttons, widgets, and sharing tools from platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube. When you visit a page on our site that contains one of these widgets your browser may send information to the social media platform — even if you do not click on the widget.

The information shared with social media platforms depends on your settings and the platform's privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy settings and policies of any social media platforms you use to understand what information may be shared and how to control it.

Additionally our website may display content from YouTube and other video platforms. Please refer to those platforms' privacy policies for information about how they handle data related to embedded content.

Third Party Sites & Links

Our advertising may link to third party websites, apps, or services that are not owned or operated by Joyner. Joyner is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party sites you visit through our advertising.

Joyner does not endorse or approve — either implicitly or explicitly — the content of any third party sites linked from our advertising. Access to third party sites is at your own risk and is provided for informational purposes only.
