Common Warehousing Questions
Dedicated storage means your goods are stored in a space or zone not shared with other customers. Shared, multi-client storage means your goods are stored alongside other customers' goods within the same facility, with location coding and lot tracking used to distinguish your inventory.
Unless a higher value is declared in writing and an additional charge is paid, liability for loss or damage to goods while in our custody is limited to $0.50 per pound per article, or another released-value rate specified in your Warehouse Services Agreement.
You're responsible for promptly reviewing inventory reports and notifying us in writing of any discrepancy within 15 days of the relevant report. Discrepancies not timely reported are deemed accepted, without prejudice to claims for loss or damage timely made.
We'll use commercially reasonable efforts to promptly notify you and mitigate further exposure, such as relocating goods or engaging backup refrigeration. Given the elevated risk for perishable inventory, we strongly encourage declaring a higher value or maintaining independent spoilage/cargo insurance.
Our fulfillment accuracy depends on the accuracy and timeliness of order data transmitted by you or your platform. We're not responsible for mis-shipments resulting from inaccurate or untimely order data, but liability for our own mis-picks or processing errors is subject to the same released-value framework, calculated per affected order.
Yes — Joyner has a warehouseman's lien on goods in our possession for all unpaid storage, handling, and other charges, to the extent permitted under applicable law.
