Cookie Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 Last Updated: January 1, 2026 Applies To: myjoyner.com & All Joyner Digital Properties

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains how Joyner Transportation & Logistic Services LLC ("Joyner," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on myjoyner.com and all other Joyner-operated websites, web applications, and digital platforms (collectively, the "Site"). This Policy supplements the Joyner Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.

By continuing to use the Site after this Policy is made available to you, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this Policy. You may withdraw or manage your consent at any time as described in Section 6.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners about how their site is being used. Cookies are set either by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties whose content appears on that website ("third-party cookies").

In addition to cookies, Joyner may use similar tracking technologies, including:

  • Web beacons (pixel tags): Small transparent images embedded in web pages or emails that track whether a page or email has been opened
  • Local storage: Browser-based storage that persists data beyond a single session
  • Session storage: Browser-based storage that clears when the browser session ends
  • Device fingerprinting: Collection of device characteristics to identify a device across sessions
  • SDKs: Software development kits embedded in the Joyner mobile app that collect usage and analytics data

References to "cookies" in this Policy include all of the above tracking technologies unless otherwise specified.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Site to function and cannot be disabled. They enable core features such as page navigation, secure login, account authentication, and payment processing. Without these cookies, the Site cannot function properly. These cookies do not collect personal information for marketing purposes.

3.2 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering your language preference, your saved address or location, your service preferences, and other settings that make your experience more convenient. Disabling these cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.

3.3 Analytics & Performance Cookies

These cookies collect information about how visitors use the Site — including which pages are visited most often, how long visitors spend on each page, and any error messages encountered. This information is used to improve how the Site works. Analytics cookies may be set by Joyner or by third-party analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics). The data collected is aggregated and anonymous where possible.

3.4 Marketing & Advertising Cookies

These cookies are used to deliver advertising that is relevant to you and your interests, to limit the number of times you see an advertisement, and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They may be set by Joyner or by third-party advertising partners. These cookies track your browsing activity across websites and may share data with advertising partners.

3.5 Social Media Cookies

These cookies are set by social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter) when you interact with social media features on the Site, such as share buttons or embedded social media feeds. These cookies may track your browsing activity across other websites and collect data about your interactions with social media content.

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options for managing cookies:

6.1 Cookie Consent Tool

When you first visit the Site, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences by category. You can update your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of the Site.

6.2 Browser Settings

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of the Site. Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

6.3 Opt-Out Tools

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. Because there is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, Joyner does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to DNT signals. We will revisit this position if a consensus standard is established.

8. California Residents — Additional Rights

California residents have additional rights regarding cookies and tracking technologies under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information collected through cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. To exercise this right, click "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer of the Site or contact us at privacy@myjoyner.com.

9. International Users

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with cookie consent requirements, Joyner obtains your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device, consistent with applicable law (including the EU ePrivacy Directive and UK PECR). You may withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie consent tool described in Section 6.1.

10. Changes to This Policy

Joyner may update this Cookie Policy at any time. The current version is always available at myjoyner.com/cookie-notice/. We will notify you of material changes through the Site or by email where required by applicable law.
