Joyner Corporate Shuttle — Rider Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 Last Updated: January 1, 2026 Service Area: United States

1. Purpose & Scope

This Rider Policy ("Policy") governs the conduct and responsibilities of all individuals ("Riders") who use Joyner Transportation & Logistic Services LLC's ("Joyner") Corporate Shuttle transportation services, whether as employees, executives, contractors, guests, or any other authorized user of a corporate client's shuttle program. This Policy supplements and is incorporated into the Joyner Corporate Shuttle Corporate Client Agreement and the Joyner Community Guidelines. By boarding a Joyner Corporate Shuttle vehicle, you agree to comply with this Policy.

2. Eligibility & Authorization

Joyner Corporate Shuttle services are available only to individuals who are authorized by the applicable corporate client to use the shuttle service. Riders must:

  • Be an authorized employee, contractor, guest, or invitee of the corporate client whose shuttle program they are using
  • Present valid identification or authorization credentials if required by the corporate client's shuttle program configuration
  • Not share, transfer, or allow unauthorized individuals to use their shuttle access credentials or boarding passes

Joyner drivers are authorized to deny boarding to any individual who cannot verify their authorization to use the shuttle service.

3. Boarding & Departure Procedures

  • Riders must be at the designated pickup stop at the scheduled departure time. Corporate Shuttle vehicles operating on fixed schedules will not wait beyond the scheduled departure time for late-arriving riders.
  • For on-demand Corporate Shuttle bookings, the driver will wait up to five (5) minutes past the scheduled pickup time before marking the trip as a no-show.
  • Riders must board and alight only at designated stops. Requesting drop-off at non-designated locations is not permitted on fixed-route services.
  • Riders must follow the driver's instructions regarding boarding, seating, and alighting procedures.

4. Conduct Standards

All riders must treat Joyner drivers and fellow passengers with dignity and respect. The following conduct is strictly prohibited on all Joyner Corporate Shuttle vehicles:

  • Verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, or physical aggression toward the driver or other riders
  • Harassment, discrimination, or offensive conduct of any kind — see the Joyner Non-Discrimination Policy
  • Smoking, vaping, or use of any tobacco, cannabis, or nicotine product
  • Consuming alcohol in the vehicle, except in licensed event transportation where expressly permitted by the corporate client arrangement
  • Excessive noise, profanity, or disruptive behavior that interferes with the driver's ability to operate the vehicle safely or with other riders' comfort
  • Use of speakerphone or audio playback without headphones at a volume that disturbs other riders
  • Bringing prohibited items, including firearms or weapons, into the vehicle — see the Joyner Firearms Prohibition Policy
  • Soiling, damaging, or vandalizing the vehicle or any of its components
  • Directing the driver to violate traffic laws, speed limits, or safety regulations
  • Distracting the driver while the vehicle is in motion

5. Seatbelts

All riders must wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion. Drivers are authorized to decline to begin or continue a trip if a rider refuses to wear a seatbelt. Riders who require seatbelt accommodations due to a disability or medical condition should notify Joyner in advance through the corporate client's account administrator.

6. Electronic Devices & Distraction

Riders are welcome to use personal electronic devices (phones, laptops, tablets) during Corporate Shuttle trips. Riders must:

  • Use headphones for audio content
  • Keep device use at a volume and intensity that does not disturb other riders
  • Not engage the driver in extended conversation while the vehicle is in motion in a manner that could distract the driver

7. Food & Beverages

Consumption of food and non-alcoholic beverages is permitted on Corporate Shuttle vehicles unless the corporate client has requested a no-food policy for their shuttle program. Riders are responsible for disposing of all food and beverage containers properly. Riders who cause significant soiling of the vehicle through food or beverage consumption may be subject to a cleaning fee charged through their corporate client's account.

8. Personal Property

Riders are responsible for their own personal property while using Corporate Shuttle services. Joyner is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property left in shuttle vehicles. If you believe you left an item on a Corporate Shuttle, contact your corporate client's account administrator or corporate@myjoyner.com with your trip details and a description of the item. Found items not claimed within thirty (30) days may be donated or disposed of.

9. Accessibility

Joyner Corporate Shuttle is committed to providing accessible transportation for riders with disabilities. Riders who require accessible vehicle options, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, or other disability-related accommodations should notify their corporate client's account administrator in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Service animals are permitted on all Joyner Corporate Shuttle vehicles at no additional charge.

10. Language Access

Language assistance is available through Language Line Solutions for riders who require translation assistance. Contact Joyner dispatch or your corporate client's account administrator if you require language assistance in connection with Corporate Shuttle services.

11. Enforcement & Consequences

Joyner drivers are authorized to:

  • Deny boarding to any rider who is visibly intoxicated, in possession of prohibited items, or who has previously been removed from a Joyner vehicle for conduct violations
  • Terminate a trip and require a rider to exit the vehicle for violation of this Policy
  • Contact law enforcement if a rider's conduct poses an immediate safety threat
  • Report conduct violations to Joyner dispatch and to the corporate client's account administrator

Repeated or serious violations of this Policy by a rider may result in that rider being permanently removed from the corporate client's authorized rider list at Joyner's request. The corporate client remains responsible for any costs incurred as a result of a rider's conduct violations.

12. Minors

Riders under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an authorized adult unless the corporate client's shuttle program specifically permits unaccompanied minor ridership and Joyner has agreed to this arrangement in writing in the service order.
